|Women: Ruth Ketley
Hi! I’m Ruth, a second year biochemist and your Women’s Rep. As part of the equalities committee, it’s my job to ensure that any issues facing the women of the college are represented and that no discrimination of any kind is experienced. I’ll be organising events throughout the year, such as the feminist discussion group, debates on important issues and hopefully some guest speakers as well so be sure to look out for those! If you need to discuss any issues you may have, or simply want someone to talk to, just drop me an email or find me around college.
|LGBTQ: James Chater
Hi, I’m James, the LGBTQ rep and a second year studying music. I’m here to support anyone within the LBGTQ community at St Anne’s who encounters discrimination throughout their time at Oxford, as well as liaising with the university’s wider LGBTQ society. I also organize LGBTQ week in Hilary term that culminates in the Queer bop. Even if the problem you are experiencing falls outside my sexual orientation or gender identity, still come to talk to me and I will do my very best to help you in the strictest of confidence!
|BME: Sneha Alexander
As your BME (Black and Minority Ethnicity) rep I’m ready to help on any race-related issue! Come to me if you have any problems, queries or if you’re just looking for a sympathetic ear. I’ll also be facilitating Race 101 workshops, discussion groups and film nights – all of which will promote marginalised topics and or/groups – so do come along.
